Beta terms

• You decide how your family uses CheckMyChores, and you’re responsible for that use, including your kids’.
• You’re responsible for your family’s phones, tablets, TVs and consoles, and for their own settings and parental controls. CheckMyChores never switches a screen on or off. You do.
• Keep your parent password to yourself. A kid who can use your sign-in can approve their own screen time.
• If you think someone else is using your account, tell us: hello@checkmychores.com.

• The photo checker and the Coach are AI helpers (Claude, made by Anthropic). They make mistakes.
• A clear pass pays out right away, without a parent looking. Anything the checker isn’t sure about may get one retake, then comes to you. You decide: approve it or send it back. You can also clear strikes and give back minutes.
• If a pass shouldn’t have paid, there’s no undo button yet. Email hello@checkmychores.com and we’ll fix the balance.
• The Coach’s answers are suggestions for doing a chore. You decide what is safe for your kid to do.

• Minutes, bank balances, interest, prizes, rewards and goals are agreements inside your family.
• They aren’t money and have no cash value. They can’t be bought, sold or cashed out, and we don’t owe anyone minutes or rewards.

• Photograph the finished chore, and nothing else.
• Don’t upload photos of people, or anything that has nothing to do with the chore.
• Don’t upload anything illegal or hurtful, or anything you don’t have the right to share.
• Photos are checked by AI and kept as our privacy notice says.

• Don’t try to get into another family’s data or someone else’s account, break or overload the app, or get around its limits.
• We can pause or end access for anyone who abuses the app or uses it to harm others.

• The beta costs nothing. We don’t take payment details.
• We won’t charge you, or move your family into anything paid, without asking first.

• CheckMyChores is a beta, and we provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, work correctly or be free of mistakes.
• As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses caused by using CheckMyChores or by it not working, like a missed alert, a wrong count of minutes or lost data.
• Some laws don’t allow these limits. Where that’s the case, they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing here takes away rights the law says you can’t give up.

Our privacy notice explains what we collect, who else receives it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

We may update these terms as the beta changes. If a change matters, we’ll tell parents in the app before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop using CheckMyChores and ask us to delete your family’s data.
